# OmniSocials Collaboration and Approvals

> Workspaces, roles, and approval workflows for teams and clients. Nothing publishes until the right people approve it, and posts made by an AI agent go through the same review as posts made by the team.

## What it does

- **Workspaces**: one workspace per brand or client. Each has its own connected social accounts, calendar, analytics, and team. Data is isolated between workspaces, and switching is instant.
- **Team members**: invite teammates into the organization and give them access to the workspaces they need.
- **Client access**: invite clients to specific workspaces to review and approve content, without full access to the rest of the account.
- **Roles and permissions**: role-based access control with custom roles. Permissions decide who can create and schedule posts, access analytics, access the social inbox, manage social channels, manage API keys, and manage billing.
- **Approval workflows**: route posts through one or more review steps before they publish.
- **Shareable draft links**: share a draft for feedback with a link.

## How approval workflows work

1. A workflow is set up in the dashboard under Approvals. It has one or more steps, and each step has named approvers. A step needs either any one approver or all of them. A workflow can belong to one workspace or to the whole company.
2. A scheduled post is attached to a workflow. It gets the status `in_approval` instead of `scheduled`.
3. The approvers of the first step get a notification (dashboard badge and email). They review the post on the Approvals page, where they can edit the text, move the publish time, and leave comments.
4. Steps approve in order. When the last step approves, the post publishes at its scheduled time with no further action.
5. A rejection stops the review at once. The post gets the status `rejected`, and the reason is shown to the requester and the other approvers.

A typical agency setup is two steps: a team review, then a client approval.

## Use it from an AI assistant or code

Agents can request a review, read where a review stands, and decide posts when the API key belongs to a listed approver.

- **REST API**: `GET /approval-workflows` lists the workflows. Pass `approval_workflow_id` together with `schedule_at` when you create a post. `GET /posts/:id/approval` returns every step, each approver's decision, and the comment thread. Rules: an approval workflow needs a scheduled time, so it cannot be combined with "publish now". Workflows themselves (steps and approvers) are configured in the dashboard, not through the API.

## Seats and pricing

Every seat costs the same: $10 per month billed annually, or $12 billed monthly. A seat is a workspace, a team member, or a client. There is no limit on team size, and collaboration features are not gated behind a higher tier.
