Social media management from Codex Codex

Add the OmniSocials MCP server to Codex. Draft, schedule, and publish across 11 platforms from the CLI, the ChatGPT desktop app, or your IDE.

Setup in 1 minute

Two commands in the Codex CLI. The desktop app and the IDE extension share the same MCP configuration.

1

Add the OmniSocials MCP server

Run this in your terminal.

Terminal
Terminal
codex mcp add omnisocials --url https://mcp.omnisocials.com
2

Sign in with OAuth

Codex opens your browser. Sign in to OmniSocials, choose which workspaces Codex can see, and click Allow.

Terminal
Terminal
codex mcp login omnisocials
3

Or use an API key

For CI or headless runs, create a key in Settings, then API Keys, export it as OMNISOCIALS_API_KEY, and add the server to ~/.codex/config.toml.

~/.codex/config.toml
~/.codex/config.toml
[mcp_servers.omnisocials]
url = "https://mcp.omnisocials.com"
bearer_token_env_var = "OMNISOCIALS_API_KEY"

In the ChatGPT desktop app, open Settings, then MCP servers, click Add server, choose Streamable HTTP, and paste the same URL. Run codex mcp list to verify.
