dots are always-on agents inside ChatGPT, launched by OpenAI in September 2026. Each dot runs on its own cloud computer, works toward goals you set, and keeps going while you are away. It can run on a schedule, react to events, and message you in ChatGPT, Slack, or Microsoft Teams.

dots are rolling out on Pro, Business Premium and Enterprise plans. On Pro, dots are available to users over 18 outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. You create your dot in the ChatGPT desktop app or in ChatGPT on a desktop browser.
