Scheduling Best Practices
Optimal Posting Times
While optimal times vary by audience, here are general guidelines:
- Best times: 11am-1pm and 7pm-9pm
- Best times: 1pm-4pm on weekdays
- Best times: 7am-8am and 5pm-6pm, Tuesday through Thursday
TikTok
- Best times: 7pm-11pm
Twitter/X
- Best times: 8am-10am and 12pm-1pm
Tip: Use your platform analytics to find when YOUR audience is most active.
Scheduling Strategy
- Batch create content: Dedicate time to create multiple posts at once
- Plan a week ahead: Schedule content for the upcoming week
- Leave room for real-time: Don't schedule everything—leave space for timely content
- Vary your times: Test different posting times to find what works
- Consider timezones: If you have a global audience, schedule for multiple peak times
Timezone Handling
OmniSocials uses your configured timezone for all scheduling:
- Times are displayed in your local timezone
- Posts publish based on the timezone you set
- You can change your timezone in Settings > Preferences
Tip: Always double-check the timezone when scheduling important posts.

Troubleshooting
Post Didn't Publish
If a scheduled post didn't go live:
- Check the post status for any error messages
- Verify your social accounts are still connected
- Ensure you have proper permissions on the accounts
- Check if there were any platform-specific issues
Wrong Time Published
If a post published at an unexpected time:
- Verify your timezone settings are correct
- Check if there was a time change (daylight saving)
