Connect your Bluesky account to schedule and publish posts.

Before You Start

You'll need:

• A Bluesky account
• An app password (not your regular password)

Creating an App Password

Before connecting, you need to create an app password in Bluesky:

1. Open Bluesky (app or website)
2. Go to Settings > App Passwords
3. Click Add App Password
4. Name it "OmniSocials"
5. Copy the password that's generated
6. Save it somewhere safe - you'll need it next

Connecting Bluesky

1. Go to Settings > Workspace (or use onboarding)
2. Click Connect Bluesky
3. Enter your Bluesky handle (like @yourname.bsky.social)
4. Enter the app password you just created
5. Done!

Important: Use the app password, not your main Bluesky password!

What You Can Do

Posting

• Text posts
• Image posts (up to 4 images)
• Posts with links
• Schedule everything in advance

Post Specs

• Up to 300 characters
• Up to 4 images per post
• JPG or PNG images
• Links are automatically shortened

Best Practices

• Keep posts concise (300 character limit)
• Use relevant hashtags
• Engage with the community
• Post consistently

Troubleshooting

Can't connect?

• Double-check your handle is correct
• Make sure you're using an app password, not your main password
• Check if Bluesky is having issues

Posts not publishing?

• Verify you're under 300 characters
• Check your images meet the specs
• Make sure your account is still connected
