Learn how to track and analyze your social media performance with OmniSocials analytics.
Overview
The Analytics Dashboard provides insights into your social media performance across all connected platforms. Track engagement, growth, and content performance to make data-driven decisions.
Accessing Analytics
Click Analytics in the sidebar to open the dashboard.
Note: You need the access_analytics permission to view analytics. Contact your workspace admin if you don't have access.
Dashboard Overview
The analytics dashboard displays:
- Performance summary: Key metrics at a glance
- Engagement trends: Charts showing engagement over time
- Platform breakdown: Performance by social platform
- Top content: Your best-performing posts
Key Metrics
Engagement Metrics
Total Engagement
- Sum of all interactions (likes, comments, shares)
Engagement Rate
- Engagements divided by reach or followers
Likes
- Total likes/reactions on your content
Comments
- Total comments received
Shares
- Times your content was shared
Reach & Impressions
Reach
- Unique users who saw your content
Impressions
- Total times your content was displayed
Views
- Video views (for video content)
Audience Metrics
Followers
- Total followers across platforms
Follower Growth
- Net change in followers
Demographics
- Audience age, location, gender (where available)
Date Range Selection
Filter analytics by time period:
- Last 7 days
- Last 30 days
- Last 90 days
- Custom range (select specific start and end dates)
Click the date selector in the top toolbar to change the range.

Engagement Over Time
Line charts showing:
- Daily engagement trends
- Compare current period to previous
- Identify peak engagement days
Platform Comparison
Bar charts comparing:
- Performance across different platforms
- Which platforms drive the most engagement

- Ranked by engagement

Exporting Data
Export your analytics for reporting:
- Click Export in the top right
- Choose format (CSV, PDF)
- Select date range
- Download your report

Engagement Rate = (Total Engagements / Total Followers) × 100

Limitations

Troubleshooting
No Data Showing
If analytics aren't displaying:
- Verify social accounts are connected
- Check you have the
access_analyticspermission - Ensure accounts have been active during the selected period
- Try refreshing or selecting a different date range
Data Discrepancies
If numbers don't match native platforms:
- API data may have slight delays
- Some metrics are calculated differently
- Check you're comparing the same date ranges
